Rarely does an S type or MK 2 of this caliber come onto the market presenting as if it has just been driven straight off the showroom floor.
First sold by Bryson Motors P/L in Sydney 1966. This beautiful S type has been undergone a full restoration to factory standards, over the past 3 years with countless hours of work and money spent. The rebuild has been kept original for the purists out there except for the following upgrades.
Aluminum radiator with thermo fan and overflow recovery tank, stainless steel exhaust with silver ceramic coated exhaust manifolds, front retractable seat belts, colour change to the interior trim, from factory grey to tan, complimenting the new timberwork, black carpets with matching tan piping. Period correct Mota-Lita steering wheel.
The engine was fully rebuilt by Peninsular Jaguar Centre in 2021 at a cost of $10,000.
The bodywork was professionally done in 2017 by Adamthwaite crash repairs NSW. The car was stripped, windows removed, bodywork inside and out, sand blasted with very little rust or metal work needed, due to it being an Australian delivered car. A new reproduction wiring harness from the UK was fitted throughout but not connected.
A full list of restoration works is below, plus; the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, original sales document, parts, workshop & owner's manuals.
The famous car collector Jay Leno frequently advises that it is far more economical to buy a classic car that has already been meticulously restored, allowing someone else to spend the excessive money and time on it, rather than taking on a project car yourself.
Don't miss this opportunity to buy a very attractive classic Jag that has been fully restored, reliable, kept under covers and driven regularly.
